Well....after reading some posts around here on this site...I came across the digital charity link...I've signed up for my own digital charity page so if any one out there can be kind enough to help out I would appreicate it.

If not, I understand fully....Best of luck to everyone.

Funny how things are....there are places out there that will help you if you can prove you have income....but what about for those of us who have NO income at all what so ever?

I am one of the silly honest people who actually was honest with the Unemployment office and told them that I found a job and that I left it after two days beacuase it was a scam job scamming unemployed people.  As a reward for my honesty, Unempolyment said no more benefits for you and you have to wait 35 - 45  days for us to review your  claim again. 

Meanwhile, what little that would have brought in while I was looking for a job is no longer coming in and as I am the only person in my home...what am I supposed to do?  I appreciate this site for letting me vent.  I would appreciate any advise too that anyone has to offer as well.

HELP!!! Please!!!

I am a 38 year old man who is living with Multiple Sclerosis. I am married to a wonderful woman, who is also disabled with back issues. We have three children all with their own individual problems.

Our first child Chantal age10 is living with Type 1 Diabetes, ADD, and Learning Disabilities.

Our second child Joshua age 7 is a very bright boy. He has a form of autism known as Aspergers Syndrome, Anxiety Disorder, and Sensory Integration Disorder.

Our third child Haley age 6, has had a rough first few years of her life. She has had to undergo a few surgeries in order to understand why she wasn’t eating at first and why her liver wasn’t working well.

 She was considered “failure to thrive” among a few other issues.

We recently had sold our house in New Hampshire due to financial and medical needs so we had moved to Arizona because I  had needed the climate change for my health. Upon arriving in Arizona, we found out that we had been the victims of false advertising on the internet, when the property we saw online turned out to be a “dump”, which was not what the website had shown.

So after driving for four days to get there and wasting three-thousand dollars we had saved to get there, we found ourselves having to borrow money from my sister in law to get ourselves and our belongings to Tennessee, where she lived.

We are a family that is struggling just to stay afloat. My wife Melissa, has to work just so that our children can get the medications that require and to cover the co-pays for every appointment.

My wife has endured so much in her lifetime and I wish she would just get a break in life so she may relax and have time to be pampered. She has had to endure such a rough childhood of abuse from her parents, growing up in foster homes and group home settings. The pain and grief she has had by losing both her parents at such a young age has been very rough on her. She has never let this get in the way when everyone else including me has needed her full devoted attention.

At the same time she lost her mother and had to be the sole provider for the kids and I she put herself through college to become a Medical Assistant.

I had a career as a flooring installer, where I was quite able to support us all, but now that my MS. Has progressed I am not able to do anything but just watch this all happen and wonder why me?

I am not the type of person to need help, but now, I find myself at the point where I must ask any willing and compassionate person to help us out. So I ask you to consider helping out in any way possible.

I am even stuck typing this on an old gateway computer running windows 98!

there is no way i can write about all that i have seen and been through, i guess the easy way to explain is i was born in 1969, the first year i was arrested was in 1979,   for runaway(i did not enjoy my "dad" punching me in the face)  i was arrested so many times for runaway that they eventualy put me in YDC (juvanile detention) i was commited there at 13 years of age, and stayed there till 17 with many escapes and just not getting along,  at 17 i robbed someone at knife point i took his 15 dollars he had in his pocket, was arrested again this time because of my extencive history they sent me to prison at 18, i did my 5 years and got out now if you can imagine how i was when i got out 10 years locked up, so full of hate and anger one thing my dad passed on to me was his anger except i was so much worse then him, then i met  stacey she became my girlfriend, had our oldest daughter,(cutting Katrinnas embilacul cord was very eye opening to me) i was not real nice to her, at this time i had no clue what love was but by her staying with me even though i was not very loving to her, well i was but more like my dads form of love(allthough i never punched her ) i was not very nice, but yet she stayed we had many more kids, and about 8 years ago i opened my heart to GOD asked his son to be my saviour, now after 15 years we get along very well and mostly are very Happy,except for money issues,

why im i writing this stuff?

 i feel that i am facing my last days in this world and its just not right

i love my kids and wife so much i will die for them,

i used to want to die so bad, now all i can think of is seeing my kids grow up and being there for them as a parent should be, my wife and kids changed me but they would not have been if not for GOD so i say to you all no matter what happens in life, we cannot blame GOD he gave us free will he does not want this type of life for his chrildren.

I am married to a disabled Marine.  He is 44 years old and has limb-girdle muscular dystophy.  Thankfully his disease has been progressing slowly and he was able to work as a self-employed carpet installer up until Sept 07.  We immediately applied to have his disability rating increased, but learned today that it will be another 3-6months.  We have 2 children at home, a daughter 17 (diabetic), and a son 18.  I lost my job making pretty good money in May 06 due to the company being sold.  I was unable to find another job so I am currently a full time student at the local community college which is paid for through Job Training.

 We have been unable to pay a power bill all winter and are quickly sinking having lost the income of 2 jobs in 2 years.  We were going through a bankruptcy when my husband became disabled and our attorney filed for a moretorium on our behalf which has so far saved our home.  We qualify for $230/month food stamps, but that lasts about 2 and a half weeks.

Our families have helped as much as they can, but they can't afford to help for another 3-6 months.

I have been searching for organizations, but most of them are focused on the Iraq veterans, or active duty personnel.   If anyone knows of any groups that can offer assistance, we would appreciate it!

hi i am new to this site and i hope someone out there can help my family.i currently am living with my 82 year old grandmother and her mortgage is behind 1,967.00 due by feb. 29th 2008 and it is already feb.20th 2008. if we cannot come up with this money they are going to foreclose on her house and she has been living hear for over 50 yrs. i seriously don't want that to happen. i was helping her with the bills until my doctor put me out of work in april 2007 and has not yet let me return. so i have no income to help her.but i wish i could or someone out there can. i am also expecting my first child in 3 weeks and do not have any thing for my unborn child. we have had to use agencies in the past for the other bills . but there is no agency here to help pay mortgages. and other family members of ours say they do not have the money to help. so if there is anyone out there that can help me and my grandmother out so we will not be homeless please leave a comment on my page and it will be greatly appreciated by all means.

Times are getting more worse for Everyone out there now! government seems to only be worried about health than people working and making a living!  bills keeps going up and for what reason we don't have any to even say, things in stores keep going as well and again no reason the same with gas prices.  People are still lossing jobs and the homes, Employers are taking applications but not really hiring anyone, also there are Employers out there that haven't given raises to there employee's for years and we are all suppose to make in this world.  it's terrible and shamful too.  It doesn't do anyone much good to even try to make things better they seems to keep getting worse.  We had a much better life here about five years ago we were able to make it and then one spring everything changed for whats been the worse two years now of my life it seems like, with all these high price on things and the bills we can do a thing and can't even get ahead of anything, just when you thinks your out of the high water and safe the water just starts flooding around you.  the little place we live in was a small city and now it's a village again because of jobs loses and school system use to be one great place to learn and it's been going down hill too.  If Everyone don't start getting help soon from some where were all going to be living in Hell, and our dreams dead!

I got laid off right before this big expensive birthday party i had planned for myself. It costs around 700. I paid $100 but still need to pay the rest. I can't make my friends understand and my parents are furious. I need help. I do.

Ineedcashasap Here is what you should do. Read at least 5 stories of other people posting on Aidpage. Think about why your friends don't understand and your parents are angry.

Get a job to earn the extra money and postpone your birthday party until you can afford it the way you want it to be.

Aplologize to your parents for causing them stress and heartache.

Thank your friends for caring enough to wonder why you want what you do . Ask them what they would do .

Volunteer your time to help someone who is homeless and has kids the same age as you . Help them plan a birthday party.
